Please know that I will do the same to protect you and your loved ones as I will do for my own family.
Dear CLP Clients,
Everyone is talking about it, toilet paper and cleaning supplies are flying off the shelf. I can’t help but think about my clients and how all of this can impact our time together. A a responsible business owner I want to be prepared for the reality of the situation as well as how people feel about their own health and safety. The Coronavirus is on everyone’s mind. I have someone at home with a compromised immune system, my sweet mamma has beat cancer three times. I always want to keep your family safe and healthy when working with us. This is on a regular basis not just in times with higher illness rates.
UPDATE: We are now closed until further notice. I will keep you updated. I am leaving this blog up so you know the steps we will be taking when we reopen to keep things safe.
As of now I am remaining open, as life does not stop. Babies are born, children are hitting milestones, and I am here to capture the memories for you. In light of present concerns of respiratory illnesses, such as pertussis, influenza, and coronavirus disease (COVID-19), I am writing this to share the precautions being taken in studio to reduce the likelihood of contact. I will be following all updates with the CDC, focusing on Saint Louis & Jefferson County, and taking precautions to be sure that the studio is a safe and clean place for my clients to visit.
HAND WASHING Each client with the exception of infants are asked to wash their hands and sanitize directly after entering the studio and before utilizing the seating area. Please feel free to use the hand sanitizers that will be placed around the studio. As always I will be keeping my hands washed and clean for each session and while handing your little ones.
CLEANING All surfaces that are regularly touched by clients and myself will be wiped down with sanitizing cleaners frequently. This includes light switches, doorknobs, smooth surfaces of the studio couch, tables, bathroom and sink area.
LAUNDRY Washable items will be laundered as needed, sanitized frequently and generally only used as necessary. Knit and non washable items will be sanitized as well.
SANITIZING I will be spacing out mini sessions to give me time for sanitizing the set with extra care in between sessions.
RESCHEDULES I will ask that we reschedule your session if you or your family are ill. There will be no charge for these reschedules. Please be honest.
PRECAUTIONS I would like to also add that I am vaccinated for pneumonia, seasonal flu, and currently there is no vaccine for the virus that causes COVID-19. However, I will do my best to not come in contact with anyone ill with this virus. I am limiting my social interaction outside of my usual routine, to keep myself and my clients safe.
I am sharing this with you in hopes that you will feel more comfortable at the studio and knowing we are taking every precaution to keep your family safe. Since our studio is by appointment only and not open to the public this should be very doable. Life doesn’t stop, babies are born, children are hitting those important milestones, and we want to be there for you to capture your most precious memories.
Please remember if you, your family member, or anyone close you come in contact with or have symptoms of Corona Virus, please contact me directly at 636-232-4957 to put your session on hold until you are cleared as fully recovered. If we, our families, or close loved ones get sick, we will notify you ASAP. For newborn sessions, due to their time sensitivity, we may offer you a referral to another local, trusted newborn photographer in the event we become ill.
I also wanted to let you know that I am happy to wear a N95 rated mask upon request.
